A Study of the Influential Factors on the Corruption Perception in the Public Sector

Abstract
Recently, the Korean Government has constantly strived for the improvementon the corruption perception in the public sector by launching Bureau forCorruption elimination in 2014 and establishing Anti-bribery and graft act in2016. But, there is the low level of the corruption perception among people.KIPA (the Korean Institute of Public Administration) has conducted the surveyof the trends of public sector corruption in Korea since 2001, and this study isbased on the survey in 2015. Results show that age, education, and income ofpeople are associated with trust in government and equality of law enforcementwhich have an influence on the corruption perception in the public sector.
